Gigbeth Launch CD

Gigbeth is coming… but did you know that there will be a special London Launch in June?!

We have teamed up with Gotham Records to compile the Official Launch CD.

The CD will feature key artists from the West Midlands, to promote the thriving West Midlands music scene. As the Launch will be strictly guestlist only, the CD will be given to some of the most influential people from national music companies and press.

This is your chance to shine in London…!

Entry onto the CD is free, but there are limited places.

how does this cd work if the acts at gigbeth have yet to be decided?

The CD is a promotional tool for the London Launch. It will be included in the VIP gift packs that will be going to music industry execs and national press. The purpose of it is to highlight the good talent in Birmingham, rather than show who is playing at Gigbeth.

the truth.......yes you can go on the promtional cd but what they do is get you to sign an agreement that allows them to use your track on any other promotional item forever and without need of anymore of your consent. they get you in on the basis of free promotion but the agreement essentially gives them the right to use your track on anything now or in the future. I don't care much as i don't think it matters as long as they can't make money but you(the artist) have to decide whether you want your material exploited and promoted by a bunch of jokers to save their ass etc

i haven't pursued it as its more trouble to deal with but if you would like to do it then of course I will make it happen as effectively as possible.

sorry to be such an enthusiast but you lot are doing so well i have tried to avoid anything with LSC or barry tomes involved!
